Consider the length of the trip home. My
flight to New York was under two hours. Contact a vet before risking a five hour flight.
See an American veterinarian immediately upon your return to the states.
Are you ready to make this commitment and care
for your new pet? ie: Medical expenses; cost of food and miscellaneous items; repairing damages to your home or personal
items during the animal's adjustment period.
Can you accept the possibility that the animal can be sick and not survive in
spite of your good intentions?
Do not take an animal from a tropical climate
and think it can survive outdoors in freezing temperatures. Keep your cat indoors for a longer life expectancy.
Be responsible; neuter and spay all pets.
